Captain_Maclaine posted:In so far as Dees does anything inside of a context other than the feverish delusions constantly bubbling up from his damaged brain, I'd suspect it was from the swine flu outbreak of 2009. Normally his images, although obviously arising from his mental illness, make some sort of sense. A bunch of politicians eating a baby, sky full of chemtrails, Nazi Jew, Illuminati. Using three characters from Star Trek just seems like an odd reference out of nowhere. I would say it's particularly odd since Star Trek has always presented eugenics as a bad thing, but that's the level of disconnect I expect from Dees. Looks like the went up on his website sometime between June and August of last year, so I think the Chemo and the Vaccine are just random tools of Star Trek Eugenics, rather than specific references to anything current at the time.

I think this is the I don't even know where to begin. The chemtrails. Spok's expression. The clearly photoshopped in hand at the wrong angle. Illuminati eye. Taser phaser. Bones with chemo drugs. Why Bones, why?

I don't understand how it makes sense in some people's minds to celebrate the founding of a country by having a laser show at a memorial to some people who tried and failed to destroy that country. That scans as "patriotic" to them. The South is so weird.

On average for what you'd get out of any other theme park I suppose. Most people just throw a barbeque and maybe go to a fireworks show. Kind of like New Years except not loving cold. loquacius posted:I don't understand how it makes sense in some people's minds to celebrate the founding of a country by having a laser show at a memorial to some people who tried and failed to destroy that country. There's something... refreshing about Dees. Like, I guess it's because he's predictable. Yeah, he's schizophrenic but every time I see one of his illustrations I know exactly what he's trying to say, no stupid metaphors. Life-sized corn with sharp teeth and and wrapped in barb wire attacking GMO scientists? Yep, pretty clear to me what the message is. It's just hilarious that he literally believes every single conspiracy theory. You'd think at some point he might say "Chemtrails? That's just not practical for the Zionist government to fill airplanes with chemical agents. Wouldn't it just be easier to taint the water supply?"

I have to say....an old man complaining about "updated history" books is too on the nose for parody, much less something a real person said 100% sincerely.
