Cook gets belted on an unprotected arm and Healy feels that he needs to assure the Australian viewer that he isn't cheating by asking for the physio to check it out. EDIT Now Healy is outright suggesting that Cook is cheating.

Get on with it Cooky! Is it a broken fucken arm?! Pick up your bat and get on with it if it isn't!! - Ian Healy.

Cook has so much inner steel a mere cricket ball can't hurt him.

Australians don't like doing it but I think its our best chance of winning the match. Depends how tired the bowlers are I guess. Obviously we need to bowl out England soonish though.

Bullshit rear end cunts pretending like that wasn't done on purpose. They bowled directly at his body and knew exactly what they were doing. gently caress Australia. gently caress them in their stupid loving asses.

The rain probably won't be that bad tomorrow morning, Monday is a bit more unpredictable. I'd say they should enforce it, it's the most promising route to a win.

Never mind Bairstow for Bell or Ballance, it'll be Bairstow for Buttler if he doesn't do something soon. Lots of Bs.

I think they're about equal as keepers. I cba to look but I can't recall him doing anything particularly notable, he seems to score a lot of 20s and 30s.

Apparently there was only one camera man following that and we don't need to see any other angles ever

If the ball is clearly missing the bat on an lbw referral, we get a camera shot, snicko and hotspot just to be sure, same sort of thorough approach should be taken with everything. I'm not even questioning the decision, I just want to see a different angle.

Five fifties in 14 innings before this test, averaging 46. Bairstow has good hands but his footwork isn't as good as Buttler. Not that Buttler is brilliant himself, but he is a perfectly fine test level keeper - Bairstow currently is below average for me. Certainly neither are as good as Prior who turned himself into a truly excellent glovesman after starting out very poorly.

I'd like to see him score a bit quicker. Obviously he won't score as quick as limited overs, but a batsman like Buttler going at a modern standard sort of strike rate of 60-odd looks to me like a lack of confidence against the red ball or he's holding back. I'd expect a player like him to play a bit like Warner does, ya get me e: like it's been hammered into him that "oohh you can't play like that in test cricket!!!", well if you can then do it
