To be fair he has that in the show.

Strangely, however, Morty doesn't. And I'm not sure that either of his parents do, either.

Summer does, though.

I like this was their response to Dead Rising looking too serious, trying too hard.

Why do you have a freeze ball, what practical use would shooting ice/nitroglycerin/ a refreshing cool breeze out of your cock have!?

It's full of liquid nitrogen, it freezes things real good

Also because it's cooler than just a penis-shaped flamethrower

Sometimes I consider watching Steven Universe with my brother just so I can understand the internet's obsession with it.

The internet is full of people who read too much into children's cartoons. See also: bronies.

There are lesbians.

And a character who is both a boy and a girl. I think. Sort of. S/he's two children fused together. Don't ask me how it works.

I mean, it's a good show too but you know how the people are.

Not worth it, probably. I know someone attempting that with MLP - after a full season she still doesn't get it.

The other day I found my old elementary yearbook - it's not a full yearbook just a dozen pages long. Anyway it reminded me of the books I used to enjoy reading but haven't thought about in decades.

It is a really good show with a lot of love and effort put into it.

Though Steven himself is pretty annoying at first. He gets better later on, but he is annoying at the start.

I know I caused a minor poo poo storm two months ago when I made fun of Steven Universe, but God-loving-drat-it I'm now completely emotionally invested in the sub-plots of unrequited love and abusive relationships between mineral themed space lesbians.

Also the show has a tremendous knack for things designed to freak out adults but not kids. Early episode has the main character do the end of Akira, but with kittens :stonk:

Oh, boy. This is how it always starts.

Pretty soon we'll have multiple out-of-control megathreads that start leaking into the rest of the forums before collapsing in on themselves like a neutron star and splintering into a horrible offsite forum that we all try to forget, with nothing to show for it but some very confused posters.

I'm not that far, but there's a literal lesbian couple in the form of Ruby and Sapphire, I've seen a lot of posts about them on the net.

People who liked the show were usually pretty chill about it until it introduced a lesbian romance. Then it suddenly become the most meaningful and deep show ever, and a bunch of really creepy and obsessive fans showed up.

Until there's a webcomic that depicts a character as a loveable rapist that leads to teen girls being sent death threats, I don't think the Steven Universe fandom has gone that far.
