I know I caused a minor poo poo storm two months ago when I made fun of Steven Universe, but God-loving-drat-it I'm now completely emotionally invested in the sub-plots of unrequited love and abusive relationships between mineral themed space lesbians. Also the show has a tremendous knack for things designed to freak out adults but not kids. Early episode has the main character do the end of Akira, but with kittens
