UYD draws an odd crowd. I liked the guy who yelled out in the crowd indignantly when they were reading statistics about girls testing higher than boys.

The entire last ep was a lure to land Don Johnson as a Patreon whale donor. "Your'e goddamn right Seth she did take me to the cleaners! We'll here's some money she'll never be able to lay her scheming hands on!" Glad that it worked.

I really liked the show but overall I think it works much better as a podcast. Watching Seth emote and Jonathan play with his hair/show his gold tooth were great though. Jonathan loving up the recording was the best/worst part of the show. The tension was dramatic and cool but Jonathan seemed subdued after and I felt bad that it happened. And at the worst time since they're getting paid now. Being in a crowd removes the personal vibe that makes the show really good imo.

I've felt the same way. Like in the podcast, they're playing to each other. But in live episodes they're playing to a crowd. That having been said, if they're ever in my neighbourhood, I'm going to go check them out.

Maybe if the chowder heads in te crowd did less screaming catchphrases and things like "you're a liar!" They would be able to relax into their normal groove a little easier.

The bummer part is that in this Seattle episode you miss in the audio the fact that when they start Jonathan says 'this is too much' in reference to a plastic mouse in a bag someone threw on stage that he was holding. Then later when there is squeaking it's Seth squeezing the mouse in the bag on stage and looking at Jonathan.
