EDIT: Is this the first run that went over estimate?

RE4 run went over estimate, surprisingly, because it seemed to be going well.

In fairness the couch did say at the start they were going to be useless, just sounding like they were there as no one else would. At least I have heard them shout out minor reminders to the runners. I have no idea how much effort it would need on the part of the staff, (beyond it being quite a bit), but when a couch knows it is going to be be bad, getting one of the 'hype' men like Spike or who ever to ask questions or something to guest might be nice. Sounds an admin nightmare though so w/e.

Well there's perlers and now a mosaic, I guess that means the next stage of trendy copy/paste pixel art is a framed collection of rubiks cubes

^^^: Agdq broke 1.5 mil, they're shooting to always go higher than the previous, current stated goal is "over a million"

Beating last year's SGDQ would be a good start. I also wonder if an SGDQ will ever beat an AGDQ in donations.

Looking a bit lowish so far this year, although there's usually a large burst on the last day plus Yetee/Humble Bundle (if they're still doing that) intake yeah?

I don't know if there is a humble bundle but yetee is gonna drop a huge "donation" at some point with $3 per shirt going to MSF.

Does anyone know the history of why SGDQ is the lesser spinoff of AGDQ, instead of them being relatively equal events?

AGDQ was the annual event... and then they made it bi-annual with SGDQ, it's just the younger sibling.

Yeah, donations really pick up in the last few days. Here's the charts for this year and last year, donations are currently around double where they were last SGDQ.

2015: http://irc.alligatr.co.uk/sgdq15/

For completeness sake, here's AGDQ as well:
