Mikaeus, the Lunarch — was previewed in From the Vault: Legends. 3/7 have had spoilers. The VERY FIRST ONE had a preview card.

Took first place at 5-0 in my local Modern FNM with Infect, walked away with a bunch of store credit and two(!) Path to Exile promos. It was one of those nights where I drew everything I needed, exactly when I needed it. I would ordinarily say a good performance like this out of me comes once in a blue moon, but then I realized what loving day it was. e: spelling. Christ, the CG work in Duels is cringe-worthy. Wizards has access to hundreds of awesome art assets they could shop into an animatic and that's what they choose to go with instead? Why? Who thinks that poo poo looks good?

I haven't played duels but the cgi stuff they are showing a lot of during the pro tour of the origins planes walkers is all very low quality. For a moment I thought I was watching Reboot.

I ran 5c Dragons at a 3 round session tonight. It was really fun to play, and I went 2-1 with it. Beat poo poo out of mono red aggro, and Abzan midrange, fell hard to a jeskai burn.

Regular 2D animation would probably be the best but they'd never do it since they have a specific art style (more realistic) they prefer in the actual game art.
