My passive aggressive shilling for Microsoft has gone beyond weird obsession levels. I have no attachment to reality outside of my feelings for a plastic box. I should shut my fat fucking mouth and stop trying to do PR for a billion dollar corp

If you want one hell of a tribute, watch the Earthbound run where they use "Iwata" as the player's name.

Pokemon makes me nostalgic for very different reasons than kids who grew up with it. I worked out at Nintendo for the first three or four major Pokemon releases, which by the end instilled a fairly deep seated hatred for all things Pokemon related.

But a few years removed from it and I mellowed out, particularly since they were always such fun games, when separated from the massive workload they caused for me. I even played through Black a few years ago and had a great time with it. I grabbed the other remakes to play but broke my DS before I could get through them (Platinum was pretty eughhhhh after playing Black anyway :v:).

It would not be inaccurate to say that I mislead an entire generation of kids in myriad ways. I drank deeply of their tears on gamefaqs.

Annnd Brock through walls, this run is already rad.

Did you participate in Iwata's dark magic to compress the Gold and Silver such that an entire post-game could get stuffed in there?

In case this is anyone's first time seeing this, Pokemon Gen 1 is a very special game in that it has basically no sanity-checking in place at all.

It does not crash. It just goes.
