On top of all the other garbage that makes Ted Rall awful, his original sin is that he can't draw for poo poo. People can make good art that is intentionally hard to look at. His art sucks and everyone can tell at a primal level. Edit: Ramirez is also terrible but is fine art in comparison.

Half the time, the captions just explaining what is going on in a particular panel, something that the art should be able to do on it's own.
