I would be lying if I said I wasn't a tiny bit disapointed at what #fe ended up actually being at first but getting upset about it or w/e is silly. Still hoping for some new trailers that show off some SMT cameos or whatever, unless it's all just going to be Fire Emblem.

Seriously they make a big deal about violence in videogames like it's 1996 but when Nintendo adds like a blood slash graphic in something they put on their big boy pants and be all like that nintendo is pushing boundries But if they see tits or rear end then they retreat to their hovels and shriek.

I remain utterly bewildered that anyone could call Xenoblade "not anime." It has the most anime loving plot in the world. It's basically a mecha anime JRPG (shocking for a Xeno game) except instead of a mecha the protagonist has a laser sword. The ending would be the most JRPG ending in the world if Lightning Returns didn't exist.

I turned on japanese voices for my playthrough (because I heard the english already) and it was no different than Persona in japanese goofiness, right down to Riki introducing himself with an idol v-sign pose. I'm really confused sometimes by what games goons standards are for "anime", like the point at which they start melting down if someone starts posting about it near them. It's actually a bit surprising to me that atelier games and such are considered acceptable in the rpg thread.

Xenoblade was rear end to play though. Like I say P3 was rear end to play usually, but Xenoblade is like zzzzzzzzzz. That's part of why I'm not excited about X as much as I could be because the gameplay just looks the same... Also I've read spoilers and the story sounds kinda boring.
