Hey anime thread, what's everyone playing on their Android mobile phone systems these days? I finally got sick of You Must Build A Boat Bear in mind I'm in Asia and the play store is horribly region locked to high hell so just throw some spaghetti at me and I'll see what salutes

MGS Megarun Update: MGS was solid gold from start to finish and actually controlled a lot better than I was expecting. The game was really designed around the limitations of the control scheme and felt consistent all the way through, and the whole story was glorious hammy double-crossing fun. MGS2 is awful awful awful. The story is bad, the twists are bad, Raiden is bad, Rose is really bad. The Vamp fight was awful and now I have to deal with Jennifer Hale's most embarrassing role. I'm giving up and skipping on to MGS3 for some sweet soviet era action.

The only MGS I ever finished was 3, which I highly enjoyed. I'm pretty sure Metal Gear Scanlon is the correct way to keep up with the "story".

MGS2 may be the worst playing game in the series once you actually get to Big Shell but the story stuff you're complaining about rules

I think 3 has the worst gameplay of the lot. The constant menu juggling with the camouflages, the bad camera angles, the janky controls and boss fights, the jarring transition from 2's smooth 60fps to chugging 20fps, etc. The boss fight against The Fury may as well be an interactive slideshow. 1 and 2 had simple babby mechanics where you could see the guards' line of sights on the radar, but it was still a million times better than the jaggy environments and unclear angles you had to put up with in 3. The stellar story saves it but it's unplayable today.

The only bad part of MGS3 is when you have to cram entire turkeys down Eva's throat every 3 seconds during the escort section.

It clearly wasn't ported with any thought at all given to the platform, but it divides up into chunks in a way that makes it nice for playing on the go I might try XCOM Enemy Within next.

King of Thieves is a pretty cute multiplayer platformer. It's kinda like if Ms Mowz from Paper Mario got her own game.

Yo Styx: Lord of Shadows or whatever is like hot garbage I guess Like it looked like it had good graphics so it should be a good game but it's like not and I don't understand why it is a bad game how do you gently caress up being a goblin

It really says a lot how everyone has an opinion on the MGS series. I'm glad I'm playing it. I'm just sick of Raiden having no opinions and big shell's obnoxious level design. And the illuminati thing was kind of poorly articulated. But the information control cyberpunk poo poo fills me with glee.

2 is good despite is flaws and its satire is good poo poo. I feel Peace Walker is by far the worst mainline MGS, its frickin' boring as hell. People poo poo on 4 but at least that was fun to play.
