Ponting got shitfaced and started a fight, still became captain. David Warner has leadership ambitions beyond Hyderabad.

I still find it funny that Warne is thinner now than when he was a professional athlete.

I wish Warne would just go away now that he's not doing the one thing he's good at anymore. Or at least just stay in England. I see today he's jumped on the 'use Duke balls in Australia' bandwagon about three days after everybody else.

The thing is he barely ever talks about the technical aspects of cricket (of which there are many, and primarily one of the reasons I follow it), same goes for Ian Healey. On the other hand, players who can be deemed good to average such as Nasser or Atherton are quite good at discussing it.

Warne can range from national embarrassment to astute cricketing mind depending on a bunch of factors. I cannot wait until we get Warne, Clarke and Ian Chappell in the box next summer. It is going to be too sweet.

I always thought people forced themselves to listen to Nasser because they were afraid of the evil that could befall them if they didn't listen to the illegitimate offspring of Valdimir Putin and Mr. Burns.

Holy poo poo, the women's Test is actually playing. I was sure that the storm we had earlier would have left the outfield either slippery as gently caress or an actual bog (I can't remember if they ever actually improved drainage at Canterbury).
