So I spent a while thinking about this last night and I have a plan...
I have a old android phone ( Samsung galaxy ace) , I'm going to factory reset it and remove the old sim. I'm then going to put mycelium on it.
There is a homeless guy who I see pretty often and he always sits in the same spot, my plan is to give him the phone and a laminated qr code. I have bought him pasties and given him a few £ in the past and had breif conversations with him and he's actually quite intelligent but life chucked some bad cards at him and its fair to say he has a drinking problem.
There is a coffee shop nearby that takes btc and also a pub ( the pub does food) but I will also offer to buy any btc he gets for cash ( mycelium gives a cash value for the btc you have)
I have a spare battery for the phone but also in a local park they have exercise bikes you can plug in phones via USB and charge them while you peddle so he has a way to keep it charged.
So what do you guys think ?? Worth a try ??

iirc while touristing around london we could connect on wifi almost anywhere but it may have been because their hotspots will accept your credentials if you have a plan with a bunch of major european networks

no the last post is right, they're fine. the decimals are encoded as strings, not floats, which can be converted into your language's chosen arbitrary-precision decimal library. encoding decimals as strings in the api layer isn't uncommon.

A) galaxy ace is an old phone but it sells for at least $60, which is a good chunk of change that could go toward buying new shoes and used jackets/blankets for several homeless

C) the entire story is fake and
Intended to fish out a comment saying "what's his address so I can donate?", then after that "this is really taking off, let's donate a ton so we can make a news story saying bitcoiners across the world got a homeless guy off the streets!"
