computer parts posted:it was a more of a thing in the first season, granted david simon is big on saying that his stuff is more about class than race, as i recall it's more or less "hey super privileged people, you won't believe how radically different the day to day experience of people you don't really talk to is from your own", which includes race as a facet but isn't really the major thrust the best commentary of the show is how it carefully shows you how tons of people making decisions that are in their own best interest makes everything way worse on average, it is basically "tragedy of the commons: the show"
