By just recoloring existing characters rather than doing his own original drawings, it shows a level of laziness and a tendency towards copying others work rather than doing any meaningful work of their town. Age of Extinction has a fifteen second portion where they go from the middle of the day to sundown to the middle of the day again even though it's all the same sequence. It's not as bad as the previous movie though where they go in the front door of the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC (actually identified as such in dialog) and then run out the back door into the airplane graveyard in Nevada. Or in the first movie where one Transformer attacks a military base from four different directions simultaneously. I really should stop watching these movies when they're up on streaming.
