I got a puppy! Her name is Dozer and I have no idea what she'll grow up into other than a pretty rad dog. When we first picked her up from the shelter she was tiny and only wanted to hide under the table: Now she is super playful and frequently a big pain in the butt: Luckily she frequently lives up to her name (also by running headfirst into walls, which happens with alarming frequency): Please pardon my lack of photography skills and ugly-rear end carpet.

My friend's cat has fangs like that. I took some pictures when I was housesitting for them and I'll post them whenever I get home. With her cat, she's had a couple teeth removed due to dental disease, even though she's pretty young, so I wonder if it's something she was born with. (She's doing fine now, don't worry.)

Got bad news that my childhood pup has his final date with the vet tomorrow morning after 15 long, happy years. Requesting fluffy shih-tzu (or any) puppies being happy and healthy.

Fifteen years is a lot better than a lot of puppers get, and you and your family are wonderful for giving him a happy, well-loved life. Now his legacy can live on in your hearts and maybe someday with another doggie for you to love.

It kinda happened by accident, I was playing with her one day, picked up a ball, and she went to stand on her back legs, wobbled, and plopped down. We were crying laughing for a good 5 minutes, it was just so...unexpected.

My family once had a guinea pig who due to early health problems had a bad sense of balance. Normally this was not a problem as the guinea pig is perhaps the most stable animal shape imaginable, but if he heard you peeling carrots or chopping vegetables he would rear up while squeaking to get your attention, and then fall over sideways.

Haha! My two pigs flip out any time you open the fridge. If they are very hungry they will stand up at the sides of the cage like normal but the smaller one has taken to head butting the big male even though there is plenty of space. It doesn't hurt either one and it's pretty cute.
