Every vet clinic was open but no doctors were at any hospital yet (what's the point?). We finally get one to come in early but he didn't make the trip. Any pictures of happy animals would help.

The other day I went to visit the little town where my grandma used to live. On the way there, there is a ferry boat for vehicles. On this ferry boat, Ive met this sympathetic little fellow:  According to the ferry boat man, he will ride on the ferry all day, everyday, going from one side to the other of the river, never getting tired of it.

Feel-good duo of the week, right here. After drinking ungodly amounts of alcohol at the Famous Door, and being shooed out at closing, my friend and I stumbled across the alley to some other bar, looking for some greasy bar food. The place was dimly lit, and I was just plain lit. I staggered into the back, and there was only one person at the bar back there. On the stool next to her, also pulled up the the bar, was her dog. Within ten minutes, I was invited to a crab boil at her house. I love New Orleans. OH MY GOD. I think I just felt my blood sugar spike.

Found some pics of him as a pup....I guess they don't entirely look alike but the coloring is what got me.   And just because, here's the new guy:      They're completely out of order timeline-wise but I felt like a puppy-dump was needed.
