i look forward to following marseille with my hands over my eyes the entire season, occasionally moving them away only to wince like i've witnessed a massive train wreck, which i have.

I laughed when I saw a L'Equipe article pondering who would succeed Bielsa, leading with a picture of Jurgen Klopp. I don't see a coach of that tier coming to OM with the team as it is.

I suppose Lewandowski and Marco Reus can hide all manner of sins. Still, he has a CL final appearance. It's less that he's a 'good' coach and more that he has prestige, kinda like Rafa Benitez I would guess.

I still wish we hadn't driven off Deschamps but he's not likely to come back anytime soon.

I can't wait to see him play, now that Lyon is Marseille 2.0 + overrated talented youth I think they have a chance to win the ligue this year.

I just saw some people on twitter discussing how Hatem Ben Arfa has been the best player in the league so far this year.

It's a crazy crazy world we live in.

Ben Arfa has been really good, and Deschamps has actually been watching him for inclusion in the national team. It's quite a world we live in.

So what's the current deal with Monaco? Do they have any money left after their billionaire went through his divorce or whatever? They seem really bad now.

R. Guyovich
Dec 25, 1991

they fire sale'd or regular sale'd their best players and got very little to fill the talent gap. they are really bad but so is everyone else in the league who isn't psg

Kind of a random thought, but isn't it profoundly hosed up how Jordan and Andre Ayew were once amazing stars for OM and now they're both languishing in the EPL with Aston Villa and Swansea City, respectively?
