Does anybody have any recommendations for TTW companions? I've got a couple of companions from the Mojave side of things that are good-to-tolerable, but I don't have any new friends from the Capital Wasteland. I figured I'd ask if anybody had any they were especially fond of before I start installing random mods and trying not to accidentally sexually assault somebody because the modmaker was a creep.

Welp, getting crashes using work and loading benches now I have arrived in Vegas with Tale Of Two Wastelands. Here is my load order. I know messy as hell but I need to clear out some old stuff. I'm certain I have nothing that should conflict with the mod? benches worked fine and dandy in the Capital Wasteland. EDIT: It was ADAM, awwww  .

Has there ever been a console command discovered to initiate the respec option you're given when you wander too far from Goodsprings for the first time? I rolled with an alternate start and never got the option, but I'd like to swap one of my traits out and don't know its perk id to remove it with the console. I don't think NV has a console help command like skyrim does to help find perk ids from a mod, or I'd go that route.

NV does have console help, it's just not as good as skyrims. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55399/ does bring it closer though. The command showracemenu might allow you to respec your character but I'm not sure if it resets traits since NV manually removes all of them before calling it.

Just open the mod in the GECK or FNVEdit and look up the ID that way, it's infinitely easier than dicking around with esoteric console commands.

You'd need to then dick around with esoteric console commands to do much of anything with that FormID, though.  In any case, it looks like showtraitmenu should do the trick. I've never tried it myself, but there it is.

So, I'm going through and reinstalling/updating everything for a new playthrough (a huge pain in the rear end). FOMOD is throwing the following error when I try to activate the Spice of Life mod - "Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. The Mod was not installed." I installed a bunch of mods after I tried it and none of them had any problems, then I tried again and got the same error. Any ideas what's wrong?

Are you using the newest fork of FOMM? Because some of the older ones have issues with mods of certain sizes and stuff.

Yeah, I downloaded new (or newest) versions of all my mods last night. I ended up just installing it manually and it works fine. I actually got everything up and running from nothing in a couple hours with only one or two hiccups and was able to play a pretty stable install. LOOT is pretty nice, helped me find a couple small conflicts I was missing. Also, does anyone know what happened to the Mare's Leg mod that spawned the Mare's Leg in the bed of the pickup outside the Goodsprings Saloon? The one I have now spawns the weapon in Doc Mitchell's, and I Don't like it as much.

North of Freeside/Gun Runner, East of Crimson Caravan is a small suburb-like place. It's convenient as hell since it's near all the important spots. Are there any house mods you guys know of that put a house in that area? Lucky 38 owns but it's behind too many loading screens. Novac is fine except not very convenient location. I'm not really in need of a huge amount of amenities, just a place to cook and a couple benches, some safe storage and I'm perfectly happy.

Someone with a Dropbox account or something can probably download the mods you want and then upload them there for you. They could even unzip them and make a data folder of all the mods together and upload that for you, so all you'd have to do is copy and paste it into your data folder. That would be epic
