I liked the concept, an all Seth stories episode. Just some of the stories didn't wow me. Hope they do it again though. Love that a guy got put away for murder for tatooing the crime scene on his chest though,  edit: Maybe they should do an all-Ask Amy episode. 'The Return of Big Dick Pierre'

I like the idea fine but as they said they'd been holding those stories for a while and I'd heard a few of them already, definitely the murder tattoo. Maybe with the money now they can do a long story dump a few times a year or something so they're fresher.

469 was definitely better than the alternative (no episode till Boston) but I had heard all of those stories al except the balding one and Jonathan was so happy to just have to sit there that he literally forgot to listen a few times. I hope they keep trying maybe as a supplementary episode each week whenever they have free time?

Its a cool idea but the execution is a little weak on this episode, I didnt find the stories to be especially humorous, maybe thats what they were going for.

I get it, I hate audiences too. To this day I have never listened to a single live UYD episode. If one ends up in my queue I always skip it. I just can't stand how the crowds laugh at literally every single joke (and non-joke). It's like an obnoxious sitcom laugh track beating you over the head and pointing out where the funny is. No thanks, I know what I find funny. And let's not forget about the people who can't resist chiming in with their dumb hooting and hollering. People loooove chiming in. Chimos. I get it, people go to live shows to have a good time and to feed on the energy in the room. People are social and like to laugh together. That's fine. It's just not UYD. There's a reason why they never have guests on the show or play listener calls. It's called quality control. Other people just ruin the dynamic. Yes, I'm a sad little person with no friends.

I would say that I used to agree with you (although I would still listen). Honestly they have got so much better in the last maybe 6 months(?). They now have a load of shows under their belt. They are now way more used to being in front of people and are way less awkward and this translates to the crowd being better. Also the sound quality is much higher. I'd give it another go. I think if anything the crowds have gotten worse... Well maybe not as bad as that guy in a 2012 or 13 live show that kept screaming "YOU'RE A loving LIAR" and things like that. But there have been plenty of obnoxious people who think what they have to say is so cute and witty, and I have noticed it's gotten worse. But that's just my opinion.

The best part of this is that the night before she posted pictures of them signing her arm with the caption 'I said I would do it, here is part 1' or something like that, and I was really hoping seeing the lovely placement and the lovely handwriting that it wasn't going to be this, but here we are. I'm very surprised that Jonathan, having plenty of his own both good and bad tattoos didn't try to sway her nor use a fine tip sharpie.
