Cody Rhodes actually became Stardust out of nowhere during a phase where he was trying to find Golddust the perfect tag partner. Somewhere along the way he went bonkers and now believes Cody Rhodes no longer exists. It really is a perfect comic book villain origin, not the least of which is because Cody is actually a huge nerd and he is very clearly lovin' this poo poo. :3:

Also at one point Cody had a Doctor Doom gimmick where he thought he was horribly disfigured even though it was perfectly clear he was fine through his clear protective facemask.

Also also, he came out as Stardust at Wrestlemania in Mr. Sinister themed gear.

Basically Cody owns, Neville is loving amazing, Barrett used to work an evil mastermind gimmick, and Amell can move shockingly well in the ring. I'm cautious but I think this match will be a ton of fun.

Possible Finishers

Falcon Arrow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8w0knairlXY
Doable

The Spear - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH5_8A6YHSQ
He sorta half did that already with the tackle, if he did a real, full vertical, hard one it would be cool, and Spear and Arrow are similar.

Emerald Fusion - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KZl1bHAtSU
Pretty sure this move is banned in the WWE with other Piledriver variants (other than Tombstone)

Green Mist - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCNhP0mMeJs
Funny, but doubt it

Bow and Arrow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MAK1bNu7LM
Maybe, but doubt they'd use a submission. Maybe used in match though.

Red Arrow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpchfT2nm0M
This is his partners Finisher and waaaay to hard to do.

I could see the bow and arrow being a good finish because it's very simple and still believable. That would make whoever tapped to it look really bad though (submission to a celebrity is real bad optics) so most likely it'll be a quick spear out of nowhere followed by a Red Arrow.

I was in costume with my wife and a few friends, and we were stupid and ended up not getting a group photo with him (I was deathstroke, wife was canary and a close friend of mine went as green arrow, so it would have been an awesome nerd moment for us.) I don't even remember the reason why we didn't get in line. It was probably a stupid reason.

I do want to meet Amell at some point though.

Hay Arrow thread, I just started binge watching Arrow a week ago and it is pretty good. I just watched the season two episode that had the Flash's origin in it. Should I watch the Flash now parallel to Arrow to get the most out of both shows or does it not really matter?

I met Amell this weekend at his wine mixer in Chicago. My wife is 8 months pregnant and he spent a good 10 minutes talking to us about parenting and giving me fatherly advice and such. Real cool, down-to-earth dude, even if his main piece of parenting advice was "hire someone to spend the night at your house to take care of your baby during the night so you can sleep". Also, at the end of the night, as I was puking my guts out in the bushes outside the hotel, I apparently had the wherewithal to aim so as not to puke on him as he left for his limo, but only just got a little of his hulking bodyguard's shoes, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

The Flash didn't actually premiere until next season of Arrow.

You don't have to watch them parallel, but episode 8 of each show is a crossover. Flash comes first, then Arrow.

Beyond that there are occasional character crossovers, but you won't miss out on anything if you watch 1 straight through then the other.

So I guess the best course would be to finish Arrow season 2, then watch the first 7 episodes of season 3, then the first 7 of Flash. Then Flash 8, Arrow 8, and finish up whichever one you prefer.

Or go ahead and interlace Flash season 1 and Arrow season 3 from the start if you want.

Oddly enough, there are actually more issues with continuity if you do watch them as they aired back and forth.

Late in the Flash there's a cameo that doesn't make any sense with how things are going on in Arrow.

I went to Planet ComicCon in KC in March. After Amells panel was a panel about comic books and wrestling (very appropriate given the storyline that just played out in WWE). I went to Amells panel just so I could get a good seat at the one after it, I really enjoyed his panel even though I had literally never watched a single episode of Arrow. He was very funny and very good natured. He took time to answer everyones questions and just had a good personality. After that I binged all of Arrow and enjoy the gently caress out of it. I don't like Flash as much and I'm not looking forward to the ATOM spinoff, but I will give it a shot.
