I spent most of the beta playing with the SMGs and that first shotgun. The Weevil and the Razorback are both pretty dope guns capable of doing work and the Razorback looks like it's the current lead for the gun of choice by sweaty nerds Shotguns have BIZARRE pellet spreads but otherwise seem fairly lethal. Tighten the spread as much as you can and put the longbarrel on it. I was able to throw up plenty of good games against solid teams and rarely spent a match with a shotgun anywhere but the top of the leaderboard across several nights of games. If people are telling you the shotguns are bad, they're bad. I feel like the mobility in blops3 is a lot tighter and more well thought-out than AWs. You can get some good speed going but more importantly it lets you clip sightlines really well by sort of squeezing up along walls, meaning you minimize the time you're exposed through a doorway or something until you're in range to do work. I hope they make chaining wallruns a little more sticky. Lot of times I'll try to be MLG and end up falling when I'm trying to cross a chasm. Gonna have to see how the maps in the final game pan out before buying. The four in the beta were all good and larger on average than the ones in Blops2. Stronghold reminds me a lot of Castle, my favorite COD map.

Blops 3 has been pretty satisfying for once compared to Ghost/AW in which I hoped the games would eventually start to feel good to play after a while (they didn't) Plus I really like the concept of specialist abilities, I've been having fun experimenting with each of them and so far the one I enjoy the most is glitch. Just the fact you can end up ambushing someone who got the drop on you is amazing and very rewarding. The scorestreaks seem fine so far and much better than in AW at least (couldn't tell you about ghost since I still used the nerfed specialist streaks) I enjoy the R.A.P.S one especially since they add a lot of pressure and last a good time in a single round. Weapon wise I've already fallen in love with the Sheiva and the Vesper, I'm disappointed by the Ark7 and hope its not the AK replacement gun, it's too average to shine in any situation. Man of war is like the scar and is a decent replacement, the M8A7 is overpowered in my opinion due to the low delay between shots and the RoF. LMGS have been disappointing for me as well but we'll see later this year what the other two classified ones are. I'm also glad there's no "must have" perks anymore so far. All in all I had a good time with the beta, and I'm glad each time I experienced a heavy ammount of lag it was because of updates from treyarch and not because of my internet itself.

The spread on shotguns is really weird sometimes. LIke being down a flight of steps and hitting someone with a shotgun blast and only getting hit markers. That said I still love playing with them and look forward to making another sprinting shotgunner class.
