Game freezes after every return-to-lobby > leave lobby and I have to quit the game, then restart. Initial impressions are that it's pretty similar to A&W but no back or L/R dodge with the starting character, not sure if that's additional in updates or "personalities". Gunplay was pretty solid and deaths felt deserved when not a lag situation, and even expected while testing how far you can run along a wall. Some decent round-ending killcams with that lightning gun.

First impressions (PC): Frames being tied to mouse latency is kinda annoying. Even a decent comp like mine has to drop everything to get lagless mouse. Starting shotgun and rifle freakin' blow. Some of the specialist perks like the War Machine and Gravity Spikes are insanely powerful, while others seem kinda lackluster in comparison. The Sparrow weapon freakin' owns cause it flings ragdolls 20 miles away. Some ppl can't even play due to weird hard freezes or CTDs. Stuff being hidden behind a dumb level wall is getting kinda old. I hate that. And you gotta spend tokens to get it on top of that. Dumb. Grinding to level 10 is okay, because at level 10, you get the KNIFE It's back, boys. Knife loadouts is back. nope but you can 1-shot snipe people if you get the reticule remotely in the area'ish near kinda sorta by them but doesn't have to be on them for a kill just like... all the other recent cods

Actually having fun when it's not hard locking.  The movement feels better than A&W, comparisons to Titanfall movement aren't really valid I think, even though I like the movement better in TF it was never really appropriate for the average size of COD maps. This seems like a healthy mix between new and traditional movement mechanics. Maps seem alright, the spawn trap in one map is real rough though. A lot of stuttering and frame drops on the PC beta. It seemed to get worse the more I played, especially when I got near enemy players.

The PC version of this feels like total poo poo. I had to change the FOV, disable mouse acceleration, and disable mouse filtering to get it feeling anything close to normal. It still felt like floaty poo poo. This was all after I had to fix the game's tendency to minimize itself every five seconds, and after I switched the game from LOW PRIORITY to NORMAL in the task manager. What the gently caress is with that? In case you didn't catch that, this game defaults to Low Priority. Try setting it to Normal and see if that fixes your crashing. (Task Manager -> Right Click on the process -> Set Priority -> Normal.) If you have issues with the game minimizing all the time, like a piece of poo poo, and you have a second monitor, disable your second monitor long enough to set the game to Borderless Fullscreen. That fixed that problem for me. Of course, none of that made this game feel OK. It still feels like total poo poo.

If you bought it through Xbox you won't need a beta code. Check your games & apps and if you don't see anything in there I've heard people have found the beta download in the store if they bought it off Xbox.

I fixed my freezing issue by switching to a Gamertag with less friends This morning j0hn mccaln was still freezing after about 45 seconds. I switched to "this is Becky" and have played for 30 minutes with no problem. So yeah there you go
