My bad, I can' tell the difference between plastic and resin. For me it's plastic or metal.

I did see a thing on Beasts of War about leaked images of a 30k space marines plastic sprue. The speculation was that a 30k starter box is in the works. Further speculation would be that GW are looking for opportunities to significantly evolve their flagship product (40k) without alienating their customers by doing something ridiculous like axing their game and its decades of history and replacing it with a whole new game with tenuous links to the old one.

Yeah, I've seen the pictures of the sprues, they're floating around. Rumor is that GW's releasing a Heresy boxed game but you can just use those models for actual Horus Heresy games using Forgeworld's rules. I'd rather they do things like this to evolve the game or set up new specialist games than murder one of their flagships.

They don't make them, but you can buy their various Special Rhinos or whatever and you get a resin upgrade sprue with a GW plastic rhino.

It's as confirmed as GW gets, which is to say that the company won't say anything until the product actually comes out, or maybe a couple days before that. It's the usual rumormonger sites reporting it at this point. I'd personally put a lot more faith in this if they hadn't said that the same thing was supposed to happen back in May.

There have however, been sprues shown with models in Heresy armor, so it's either legit or very much an elaborate hoax.

Oh, I believe that the sprue exists, but we really don't know much more than that at this point. There's a lot of rumor about what rules go in and what exact models will be in and what not, but the real truth here is that GW is lovely at marketing and we won't know exactly what the product is until the first box gets opened.

Back with the release in 09(?) I tried to find a copy and eBay was loaded with miniatureless copies for $40-50.
