Honestly every Fiat owner I know loves the car to death and most reviews only slight it for the turbo lag and stability issues in cold/winter weather, which is a non factor in Southern AZ. She loved the test drive, and the passenger's seat was pretty comfortable. Though I have tried to push her more to the Mazda3 and Hyundai Genesis since she wants a reasonably priced 4-door and refuses to get an Elantra

I got my current car super cheap at auction because someone died in it. Then I realized I'd never get the smell or the stains out so I dug around junkyards and lots until I found a broken down cobalt and spent a week swapping out the engines and everything that didn't smell.

As far as I'm concerned any Porsche not from the 911 lineage isn't worth my time. I'll probably own a 911 at some point though. I really want an 80s or early one in brilliant purple. I'd also like a carrera 4s.

I buy my cars from the radio ad that says you only have to make $300 a week - because payment is due every week. Its sort of like a lease except the car is an 11 year luxury model with 250k miles and instead of the lease period being 3 years they repo it after 3 months when you miss your 1st weekly payment

Because if I don't drive a new car people will think less of me and I can't live with the idea that someone out there isn't impressed or jealous of me. Everything I do revolves around this purpose, such is the American Way(tm)

I got my Civic new in 2009 (paid off after 5 years) with the intent of driving it for 8-12 years. I've been taking pretty good care of it, and seems like it should last another 3-6 years. By then I should be able to get another quality new car with either cash or minimal financing and do the same. I could probably save a bit looking around for certified preowned cars or whatever, but I'll probably get new so it's less likely that I will have to deal with any car related hassles for a while.

I worked a slave wage for like 5 years and lived in my parents basement during college and they paid for the college and I celebrated by buying a brand new car and guess what. I only live 5 minutes from work, and since its not a loving honda civic its worth literally almost as much as when I bought it 4 years ago. I lost about 3k on it. Suck it poors.
