I think Tinkoff is a pretty huge jerk but they have a point.

Tinkoff isn't an oligarch by traditional "russian oligarch" standards.

I know Landa didn't have his ear piece in until the very end so as not to hear the team radio, but has anyone seen any reaction from the team? Have any of you seen if Astana made any public comment on his actions?

He's off to Sky next season anyway so im pretty sure they dont give a poo poo.

He made Aru work needlessly and as a result spent extra energy and probably lost a good few seconds from not having a draft off Landa's wheel. So I am sure they are somewhat displeased at his solo efforts.

He disobeyed team orders, but got a win out of it. Astana could react my not racing him the rest of the season, but likely this is his last race anyway so he didn't give a gently caress.

vuelta is pretty fun for the amount of dumb poo poo and drama thats happening.

purito lurking just close enough to make me hope/dream before the inevitable spectacular blowup (or just the ITT, either way)

also froome has crashed in a neutral zone and going uphill. are there any other dumb crashes left? maybe break a collarbone while on the trainer?

Yeah, fascinating stuff.

The Vuelta break is 8-9 minutes out and nobody's going to pull them back.

Now let's watch them get pulled back.

Not today, this is going to be a slow climb relatively speaking since theres 2 more days of mountains.

I hadn't heard Demarchi's name since last year at worlds when Kwiatkowski chased him down and he made a face. Yesterday they were talking about that incident on The Slowride podcast yesterday and here he is in the break.

So basically he has to win.

Tinkov really put the rockets on that climb. I think the break will still win it but its going to be close. I wonder if Aru will have another off day too?

Frank Schleck looks strong, determined, focused. He's shredding this break into little bits.

He definitely won't melt down til the last climb.

Not sure where, the Eurosport guys were talking about it. I assume towards the end though

Apparently on the sign at the bottom of the climb it has sections listed at 30
