I can't be the only one tempted to brew a 5 color, 30 land deck with 4 of each Kahns fetch, one of each basic, and one of each of the new duals. It would have Cruise, Tasigur, a bunch of mana sinks like Savage Knuckleblade and Molten Vortex, and a bunch of Landfall triggers. No idea if it will be good, but I know I'll have fun building and playing it.

I have six boxes coming to me (bought them when they were 80 bucks a pop) and i'mma crack em all. My proceeds are going to go to tix because this is the first time since NPH that i'll be making a standard deck with how much cheaper it's going to be to play in. I know there is almost no chance of getting the foil special lands but the fact that I'm cracking six boxes makes me happy like I was 12 again!

Also the reason buying singles is so cheap is because there are goons willing to crack open a case. I've seen people open a box in front of the store owner to sell the singles back, with people gambling packs to see if they will break even or not.

I haven't purchase many packs of Fate Reforged and only got back into the game recently after about an eight year hiatus. Is it uncommon to get a fetch land in every pack? There were no basic lands, like there are with other sets. They were all replaced with fetches. I've heard of it happening, but haven't really explored anything in the current standard block, so the set is a little alien to me. I bought three packs and got three fetches. I bought another three and got three more. So I went back to the shop and purchased all the rest of the boosters in that box. 26 packs, 26 fetches. One in every booster. I wouldn't think they'd be so expensive if you were guaranteed one in every pack. But how uncommon are these types of boxes? I thought it was peculiar, so I started recording after like the 8th or 9th pack.

He opens everything and immediately sleeves everything into a binder and then never touches the cards. He won't trade for cards, both because he wouldn't be able to sort them into his insane OCD binder method, and because he feels that they aren't legitimately his cards because he didn't open them himself. On top of this madness, he staunchly believes that sets like modern masters "aren't real magic cards" because they aren't being printed in a real expansion that progresses the lore (the masterpiece of fantasy fiction that it is  ). There were several posts about how MM2 cards aren't real cards and whatnot. He is truly crazy.Mostly I was giving you a hard time about busting packs without playing limited, but really as long as you don't have silly expectations and enjoy it none of us can judge you.
