I think the camera and lens together came out to about a buck and change but I must confess I impulse bought them because I figured I could make at least a little profit reselling them at that cost.

SanDisk just specializes in flash storage, while Samsung makes all kinds of memory, from flash to RAM to ???. The only brand of SSDs I'll buy is Samsung. Or Intel, but Samsung is a much better value. scuz posted:My favorite episode is still the one where they went to CTC Auto Ranch and had to get a car to a drag strip in like two days. Don't work until 5pm tomorrow, which means tonight is "stay up late" night. Trying to binge on House of Cards. I had finished Season 1 awhile back. Looks like one of the friends that I loan my Netflix account to has watched all 3 seasons on a device that doesn't support user profiles, so it's kind of hard to keep track of what episode I'm on when I go a few days without watching. Been awhile since I watched it, forgot how much it just sucks you in.

So since I have a girlfriend now my anxiety towards going out to crowded bars and poo poo with or without her has dramatically decreased. We were just talking about going to the club soon (my first time) and getting drunk and dancing. Since I woud be with her and my buddies all night it actually sounds appealing and I wanna go. Getting drunk and white boy dancing sounds fun.

My $300 shitbox 323 is up to $480 including registration. I spent $40 and all day making a side exit exhaust for it to be emissions tested. Turns out since the car was purchased in October, I have to go through emissions again in one month... I also found out RockAuto has a wholesaler closeout of the full cat back system for $60... Thanks again for the reminder. Cutting it down worked perfectly. I was just about to order a replacement, so that's saved. N6 is exactly what I was looking for. Nice screen, big form factor, quick... I'm happy. Now it's time to strip the N5 down and upgrade my wife's N4.

I need to check my expectations: Group of three go for lunch @ 1pm on a Saturday. Restaurant is reasonably busy. Stand and wait. and wait. Check #1 - how long is it reasonable to wait at a host station before being acknowledged before you just walk out? About 5 minutes later we are greeted and seated, waiter will be with us. Check #2 - how long is it reasonable to wait on a waiter before walking out? About 10 minutes later, we walked. Never did see a waiter.

I replaced my O2 sensor and will do the free retest soon to see if that helped. Carb appears to be mostly computer-tuned besides an idle adjustment screw. Otherwise I'm asking around for a less scrupulous emissions testing place.

They don't cut it (you can cut it yourself in the carpark if you like) and I usually save on delivery charges by driving it the 1 mile home with it threaded right through the landy via the bulkhead vents and the back catflap. I priced b&q vs travis Perkins as they're both a mile away. TP was about 10-15% cheaper but I didn't think of pricing 4.8m and cutting. TP does free delivery if you get a card with them (free) I'll check for other local yards.

Test drove a Boxster Spyder today. Handling was great, engine response and sound (with the sport exhaust mode on) were great. Suspension seemed like a decent balance between stiff and daily driveable. The shifter was really really vague. They need to do whatever Corvettes do to get some precision back. The salesguy let me gas it going onto an onramp. It was nice and fast, but no furiosa like the Viper. What stood out was the incredibly sensitive engine response and also pretty strong engine-braking. Gave the car a very direct feel. Steering was good, but I'd come to expect, from reading all the reviews, that this last stand for Porsche hydraulic steering was supposed to be incredible. My 944 had better steering feel (and a tighter shifter, and it was transaxle!).
