Personally I don't think the "he just became a democrat" thing is some kind of dark sin on Sanders' part, but I don't think it's necessarily ridiculous that people who have been Democratic party operatives and regional leaders and so forth might incline towards the Hilldog they know rather than the Berndog they don't.
