I've borrowed my dad's C5 a half dozen times - it is possible to snap the door release lever in half because the plastics are so brittle - I googled for it after I did it. The shifter and shift action is TERRIBLE.

Why the gently caress does someone make a phone with Bluetooth 4.0 that can't stream music?! gently caress it. Found a 2nd gen Moto X on Amazon (damaged box, so it's via amazon warehouse deals) for $240, plus a two layer case for . Phone should be here Wednesday, case on Thursday. Its specs are a bit better than the Nexus 5, and it's a bit newer in terms of overall design. e: and I can probably flip it for about what I paid for it whenever I want to get either a newer Nexus or a Moto X Pure. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 06:23 on Sep 7, 2015 |

I did the same.. don't need to wake up until 9:30, but I'm wide awake. Lazy day, at least. Left the house once to go pick up dinner, spent most of the day just laying on the couch with a chest warmer purring (and occasionally head butting me or nipping me if I took my hand off of him). It was too loving hot to do anything today anyway. At 11pm, it was still 89 outside. So glad we have ceiling fans through the house. Slept through a good chunk of the day, I'm hoping the 3 benadryls I took will knock me out soon.

If it wasn't for the Corvette badging, it's close enough that it could pass for a mid 90s Camaro interior. Shrink it a bit and remove the fancy climate control and it could even pass for a Malibu interior. I like how they framed the Corvette logo (assuming from a car behind them, or something from the car positioned behind it) in the mirror though. Interior quality (or even body quality) is something GM has never figured out, but they definitely know how to build an engine.

I asked in the stupid question thread but couldn't get any help, maybe somebody can help me here. The case of the 2004 Grand Prix GTP and the shimmy shimmy shakes. My GTP has 174k miles on it. Everything on the car has always been well maintained either by myself or a shop I trust. The past few months I've had a wicked shimmy at speed. Most noticeable while accelerating. Goes away mostly when coasting. The tires are in good shape. Brakes as well. Both replaced within the last two years. Had the tires rotated and balanced a couple of weeks ago and they said everything was solid. All four wheels bearings have been done recently as well. I thought it might have been the passenger side axle causing the trouble so I replaced that. Still got the wobbles. I'm not exactly sure what to do as far as tracking down the source of this problem now. I don't really have the time or cash to put the beast in the shop and have them figure it out right now. I'd like to know the best way for me to diagnose this problem and hopefully fix it myself on the cheap. It's not severe enough that it's unsafe just yet but its certainly making for an unpleasant driving experience. I have a long commute so I like everything to be as smooth as possible. I'd very much appreciate any input from our resident 3800/W-Body guys. Or anyone else that can help. Here's a photo of my beloved steed parked next to a beautiful Porsche. My accident gave me a scare. and while i am perfectly willing to drive around in a 1981 hilux with gorillatape as part of the subframe i am not willing to transport my family in one. i think the targabarthingie on the back needs to go tho,and maybe the cowcatcher

let us know how many transmissions per 100,000km it goes through. Guy I know has an Amarok with the 8 speed auto and its on its 3rd trans before hitting 100K kms because of "Reasons" (seriously, the dealerships cant even diagnose it, they just drop the box out and put a new one in when it forgets its got gears) I dont think VAG has quite got that trans figured out just yet.

01. Buy house with damaged floors. 02. Hire floor refinisher, pay deposit. 03. Floor refinisher shows up a week late. Call him every day until he actually shows up. 04. Postpone move to house because floors aren't done on time, even though you have already packed everything you own into boxes and storage. Pay additional month rent on top of mortgage. Eat lovely take out every night because you don't know when you'll finally be moving and don't want to unpack everything you just packed up. 05. Get feeble apology from floor refinisher who promises floors will be done by new date. 06. Floors are not done on new date. Go to step 05. Repeat 3x. 07. Inspect floors on final date. Job was not completed at all. What was done was done incorrectly and will require thousands of dollars to fix, including damage to other parts of the house. 08. Consult with lawyer. Learn that resolving the situation through legal channels will take months. 09. With job still not done, contractor claims family emergency and that he can't look at the problems for a few days. New tenant wants to move into rental house you occupy. 10. Move belongings into storage and into a hotel? 11. Hemhorrage money.
