Nonsexual contact is fine in small doses, but when it's taken to the extreme(like cuddle parties) then it becomes creepy and weird.
Most of the men you see in those pictures look like they've been banished to the permanent friendzone and that's the only way they can get physical contact without paying someone.

Hugging is fine and I regularly share mutual hugs with my close friends of the opposite sex when I haven't seen them in a while or when we're parting and won't see each other for a while. In either case it's mutual and doesn't last overly long.
People that are overly huggy with everyone just come off as needy and creepy. I'm talking about people who go in for a full on hug with people they just met or barely know, not a social greeting hug.

That's something that's a bit personal, even for friends. At least for me the only people who touch my hair or whose hair I would touch are people that I'm in a relationship with.

That's something that's a bit personal, even for friends. At least for me the only people who touch my hair or whose hair I would touch are people that I'm in a relationship with.
