if your gonna be selective with who you read why do you read people that are just out to troll you? also aside from quiet and occasionally having Huey get beat on its a drat good game for anyone who likes sneaking and shooting the plot isnt that crazy, but while for most games you just handwave a convoluted plot people are desperate to find deeper meaning in metal gear than 'nukes are bad' and 'war sucks'

because it's way more fun this way i thought you just had a base and could go on individual missions and stuff, but then again I guess there's no reason to have a horse that poops in real time if it's not open world were any of the other ones like that? I thought they were all like Hitman or whatever, just a bunch of levels

im p sure this is the first one where you can just run around and do your thing, like you can stumble into side missions without meaning to or have to respond to the next base over sending their dudes because you hosed up real bad the other mainline ones to memory are linear, where portable ops and peace walker are more like episodes
