It doesn't make any sense to think of it that way. Israel is a nation where Christians are regularly spat on, and the vast majority of them are no more 'white' than the Palestinians they're bulldozing.

I'm from Arkansas, and Mike Huckabee took away vending machines in schools. He also enacted a policy for students to take a compulsory bi-annual BMI test, and the results were mailed home to parents.

Vote Huckabee if you want diet control on a national level!

I know obesity is a real and major problem in America, but forcing it only makes people resent it and refuse out of stubbornness

Edit: Mike Hickabee is a stupid piece of poo poo, but taking vending machines out of schools is a Very Good Thingv. I remember kids that would take the money their parents gave them for lunch and use it to buy Gatorade and candy from the machines.

Wouldn't the end of the world mean the end of America and if the formation of the state of Israel would trigger the end of the world, then wouldn't the formation of Israel be against the American interest of perpetuating its existence?

...this actually isn't a terrible idea. My high school had soda vending machines because Coke paid them like $5000/year to have them there. At some point they were replaced with milk machines because of health concerns.

The best strategy though is for the school cafeteria to have good food, and the school to have a couple of seminars about nutrition and exercise.

This is the reason ultra-Orthodox Jews were originally the harshest critics of Israel and secular Jews the biggest advocates. The Messiah was supposed to conquer the Holy Land, gather the Jews back to it, and restore the monarchy of the line of David, this time to last forever. Certain ultra-Orthodox Jews viewed Zionism as heretical and Israel as blasphemous. Ultra-Orthodox Jews shifted starting in the 1970s-1980s to supporting Zionism for the most part, though some small groups are still very hostile to the idea of Israel. Some of these anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jews live in Israel, for maximum :psyduck:.

Who needs America when you are taken up in to heaven to watch all the non-believers(aka everyone who doesn't believe EXACTLY like you do, which is amusing when you consider how many different groups believe that and that none of them exactly agree) left on earth die in a nuclear holocaust or live and scrounge out a horrible living in the resulting wasteland!

That's a Mormon thing for sure - you're absolutely not supposed to hook up before marriage, so a lot of times there's an internal justification along the lines of "well I can get him/her to convert and marry me if I keep doing it". This understandably freaks a lot of people out, and the Mormons who engage in this type of activity usually either drop it or the entire religion once they get this reaction a few times.

It's been "a thing" among autograph hounds to get signatures on baseballs for the last decade or so. I suspect some of the appeal is the quirkiness of it, but there's also the notion that the signature more likely to be a genuine signature obtained face-to-face (rather than autopenned or through the mail) and will therefore command a better price on the resale market.
Getting presidential candidates on baseballs is a thing going back way more than 10 years.

"Carly was a little nasty to me — be careful, Carly! Be careful! But I can't say anything to her because she's a woman. . . . I promised that I wouldn't say that she ran Hewlett-Packard into the ground. I said I wouldn't say it! That her stock value tanked. That she laid off tens of thousands of people, and she got viciously fired. I said I will not say that. And that she then went out and ran against Barbara Boxer, and . . . lost in a landslide. And I said, 'I. Will. Not. Say. That!' "
