i suspect that means i'm MENTALLY ILL

blowing up AA radars owns, getting extracted from inside an enemy fort as pequod guns down any grunts keeping you down is way more dramatic than horsing off all bloodied and battered

it's especially neat when you can just hike all 17 sleepymen from the camp into the chopper at once and save like 5K compared to ballooning everybody away piecemeal

cgs: made it through mgsv prologue by not looking at screen whenever it lost interactivity. first act in afghanistan was to raid a comm outpost and get some intel but spend all my tranq bullets in the process which may have been a bad idea. also found some posters and a tape of journey's "separate ways". good game so far

Yeah. The camo you get immediately though so it can be worth doing if you feel like it. All the boss camos do weird stuff, like the bee guy's makes bees follow you around iirc

well the problem is all the ocelot's motivation reveals come in portable ops. that something happened in san hieronymo is canon but it wasn't written by kojima so its not clear whether all the deviously clever strategist stuff is official

it feels like this is all a consequence of kojima trying to reconcile big boss as the villain taken down by snake with the big boss that's a noble warrior of nobleness

You get some really good soldiers and some emblem parts if you import a save. I just downloaded a 100% save after I had played through all the missions personally
