This is a movie I read about a few years back, all I can remember is that it's either all in one take or at least meant to look like that, it's about a guy who gets tired of all the gangs and youths on his street, so he beats them all up. I think it was Korean.

I'm looking for a movie. I tried describing it to someone recently, but I must have just sounded insane. I have a friend who recalls watching it with me years and years ago so I know it does exist. Details are really hazy though.

It's not in English. I recall the villain had a scorch mark or a big rear end lump on his head in the shape of a spider, if not, a spider- like shape? He came into the real world from a possessed video game or something. At the start of the movie, he's floating around in what I recall being some sort of gross egg.
I think the main character dudes mostly went around fighting shirtless and in sweatpants.

The only part of this movie I remember sort of clearly is a French guy falling off and losing his scooter, to which he says 'MY SCOOTER!'

edit: oh and the villain fucks his mum in a dream and she gives birth to an egg, but it's a big gross, webby egg and a full grown man comes out of it.

This movie better exist, otherwise I have some major issues :/

Heed my words and become a master of the Heart (of Thorns).
Looking for a war movie, released in this milennium, think it was set in the Iraqi War (the 1991 one).
The only scene i specifically remember is the protagonist, who i believe was a sniper, is about to shoot some high ranking enemy officer when he gets ordered to stand down as they are going to bomb the building with said officer with artillery or airstrike. When he returns to base he almost gets into a fight with the officer that told him to stand down (?)
I was looking for this movie a couple of years ago and thought it to be Jarhead but when watching Jarhead then i could have sworn this scene was not in it?

TTBF
Sep 14, 2005

That is definitely Jarhead. The two snipers beg to be allowed to take the shot anyway since the entire base is about to get blown up. When they're not allowed to, one of them freaks out and starts yelling "THAT WAS MY KILL!" and "YOU loving DESK JOCKEYS!" at the officers who told them to stand down. It's near the very end of the movie.

I can't find the full scene on YouTube but I found part of it intercut with a watermelon exploding so if you want to see if that jogs your memory here you go.

The gunshot there wasn't actually a gunshot in the movie, but a door opening for the (Air Force?) officers to come in and watch the base be blown up.

I'm trying to remember a movie which I must have seen as a kid and I believe was from the late 80s, early 90s. I think the movie was about either a newspaper or a tv news station, but I can only remember one scene. The scene I remember is somebody falling from a second or third story window and landing directly on a copy machine. That's it, that's all I can remember. I'm not even sure if it was a drama or a comedy. My only guess is Broadcast News, but that's just a guess and no googling has provided me with that scene.

There are two movies I can't remember. Both were probably from the 80's, I really thought the first was Rambo II but alas it is not.

1. This movie I think was like Rambo II or Missing in Action where someone is going behind enemy lines in a place like Vietnam. The only scene I remember is the hero being shown a really fancy, almost high tech kind of assault rifle. He looks at whoever is showing them this and says I'd rather have an Ak-47 or something like that inferring that he would be better off using a older, reliable gun rather than some untested piece of garbage.

2. The second movie I can't think of was a Dangerous Game type of hunt someone for sport movie. It took place in a river, bayou or swampy area. I remember one of the bad guys getting killed by being thrown onto a spiky tree stump which impaled him. The hero then surprises whoever is behind the hunt at his fancy mansion (also maybe located in the same bayou??)

I think this was a made for tv movie. A father and son are reunited after reasons and they get along great. But while they go out fishing on the dad's boat some malfunction requires them to land at an unknown island. Here they're abducted by an entire society of people that have been living like pirates from the 1700s forever (the film takes place in contemporary times and was likely made around 1992~1995).

At one point one of the female pirates inexplicably falls in love with the dad and seduces him. This causes the pirates to torture her by putting poisonous jellyfish on her.

The only other scene I remember is when the pirates tie up the dad and make him hold out a fruit which they made the kid try to shoot out of his hands with a blunderbuss.

The whole thing was really weird, like it was like an attempt at a kid friendly take on the cannibal and stereotypical jungle savage Italian flicks of the late 70s and 80s.

To this day, Michael Caine refuses to discuss the film.

The names that the pirates had for penis and sexual intercourse were "Thruster" and "Thrusting" respectively.

The movie was nominated for two Razzie Awards at the inaugural Golden Raspberry Awards in 1981, for Worst Actor (Michael Caine) and Worst Director (Michael Ritchie).

Bayou + Most Dangerous Game points towards Hard Target or Avenging Force . Both take place in Louisiana, although the final showdown in Hard Target is in a warehouse full of mardi gras floats. Avenging Force does end almost exactly how you describe. A Canon film starring Michael Dudikoff, enjoy!

Also, it's not the one you're looking for, but you should watch Deadly Prey too.

Edit: Avenging Force and Deadly Prey are on youtube, for your convenience. Hard Target was on Netflix - it's John Woo's American debut.

Here's one I ask periodically, it's a sensationalized medieval witch trial/Spanish Inquisition drama. It is NOT The Name of the Rose or the 1991 Pit and the Pendulum but generally is definitely similar to the latter. It may have been a made for tv movie. I think it had to have been in the mid 90s, like 1996 at the latest.

My once a year or so quest for this one:

Brian Dennehy, or someone like that is a small-town cop. He pulls over this couple in an older car. The man says he did the maintenance on the car himself. The cop makes the couple get out, and makes the boy find grease from under the car (the line I remember is "I thought you kept this car cherry, boy"). The cop then rapes the girl, using the grease the guy got from under the car, and tells the guy if he turns around and the gun is pointed at him, he (the cop) will kill them both. If it's not, he'll let them go. He puts the gun on the hood or roof or the car, but the guy never turns around.
Later, the couple confronts this cop at a diner or something.

I think I've posted this before but never got any success, so let's try again!

All I can remember is a scene from what I assume is a horror movie (I assume it was a movie and not a television show) I saw on television or vhs as a child; basically a green? monster hand reaches out from a jar to pull a man inside by his face. I distinctly recall cut-away shots to show his arms getting sucked into his sleeves as he dessicates or something? For some reason I remember him wearing a plaid shirt and that he mistook the jar for a pickle jar. Beyond that, I know nothing else about this.

Edit: I have and it was six years ago. Good enough! Time for a second try.

3. Well the idea was the guy was selling the gun to the gangsta and he was used to holding it a certain way, and he takes it away from him and shows him how to hold it right, scolding him because the recoil will injure him in the process. I don't remember the exact scene, but it kind of goes like this:

"Alright, here you go. Try this out. *gangsta holds it sideways* GIVE ME THAT! You loving idiot. Hold it like this. You hold it like that you'll break your loving wrist!"

This is going to be very vague and involve a tv show not a movie I hope this is the right thread. I'm looking for a tv show or possibly a mini series that i saw when i was much younger. It was no older than 1994 but not newer than 2001 or 2002. I remember only one distinct scene from it, it involved one of the protagonists who I believe was african american getting shot or hurt somehow on or near a rope bridge over a canyon of sorts connecting a main land to a isolated piece of land, maybe a castle of sorts. I think there were between 3-6 main characters at that point. The genre was sci fi/action fantasy.
