Notorious QIG posted:the best asscreed game is 2 and even that one is merely ok-to-good. how that series is so successful is beyond me eh. 1 was ok, 2 was ok and had a good enough story to carry it, and then the last stretch of game was just great, from fist fighting the pope and the entire twist and cliffhanger made people want more brotherhood was good, but then they hosed up lucy's va's contract and it led to revelations modern day plot being hosed up revelations was mediocre, but not horrible, and started a trend of really loving weird things things getting shoehorned into the game that really didn't need to be there (bomb making, den defense, first person geometry placement simulator) 3 nearly killed the series because of how bad the plot was, but it added some good changes elsewhere (naval combat, better freerunning) 4 p much saved it because it was one of the most realized be a pirate simulators that also took the time to piss on the assassins/templar conflict. unity was p much staggeringly mediocre that had some technical issues at launch that prevented it from being this big pan- platform extravaganza they were aiming for there isn't much anything really horrible about unity, short of ubisoft listening to people finally listening to the fans who wanted harder combat ever since brotherhood, the game is large, and the coop was good when you could get it to work. arno was a decent character, definitely trying to be ezio like, though rose was a bit of a waste
