The two days I spent in Sacramento 12 years ago were the worst and thus I base my opinion on the entire state on that experience.

I don't know how many more times I could have told these guys to pull the loose tube un-armored fiber by the kevlar. Now the fiber guys are here to fusion splice and mad poo poo is broken and I am just sitting here like yeah I told ya so... On the plus side I got into a big argument with the PM and the boss when I expressed my frustrations with the company and now they are offering me more money to stay and they are also gonna start bidding on VDV jobs as well so I can run them as opposed to only doing this pussy rear end A/V work.

drat, I just learned that there is a new live action The Jungle Book movie coming out next year. I didn't really care about seeing it until I saw Christopher Walken is playing King Louie. That's going to be such a mismatch it's going to be awesome! Hackers awesome, if you will.

Man I feel nad for the other dude on my crew. Since our most experienced A/V quit he has had to solder all the microphone input connections since I don't really have any soldering skills to speak of. I walked downstairs after 10 hours today to find him laying on the floor with tons of back pain from being hunched over all day.

I'm not sure what you're into, but there'sa reasonable theater and music scene to, though the bands I like tend to go to more redneck places.

Today was a bad day to find out my mot expired nearly a week ago, but my wife picked up the parts I needed while I was at work so I could fit them this evening and drop it in tomorrow morning. Everything's been so stressful and chaotic with the move I clear forgot and feel stupid. Yeah, PO monkey-hosed the handbrake mechanisms both sides, plus a bunch of corrosion that means I had to get creative with bolts and washer combinations to get it back together and safe. Then the loving (new)wear sensor broke as I put it in by hand. Not pleased. Buttoned it all up with a quick test drive and realised the hazard lights don't work How bad an idea would it be to transplant a whole rear subframe from a lower mileage less rusty one in the scrapper's? About to hit 200,000 on this thing.

I'll deal with the weather if it means I don't have to drive 45 minutes one way to get to the grocery store, or be surrounded by crushing poverty.

Make your splices look like this: then heat the wire with the soldering iron, and lay solder on it making sure it flows into the cracks. Done.
