The show is incredibly faithful to the manga while still adding it's own special touches (I don't think the VP's piledriver was in the manga for example.) The voice acting is also really, really good.

it absolutely works best as a marathon because you can catch all the subtleties and really notice how the slightest alteration to the production design of something with the same essential form can radically alter it. incredible
