Yeah, dunno who drew them but they've clearly got some talent, wish they'd do more than just sketches for those because they're just great.

Honest question: have you played it? Because it's actually pretty good, mechanic wise.

Another reason a lot of people like it is that the battle system is this mix between shoot-em-up bullet dodging and timed attacks (if you're looking to kill) or puzzle solving (to spare). It's more involved than the standard RPG setup, and every enemy has a different pattern to learn and navigate.

I played the demo a while back I mostly hated it because of it was trying way to hard to be quirky but as far as gameplay goes I thought the dodging was too easy but at the same time the sequences lasted too long so dodging attacks got tedious really fast.

I don't know of anything particularly bad, but writers in the period you refer to were also literary critics and some of them would have arguments in public journals about whether Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries was better (I remember John Dryden was the person saying Shakespeare was better than Ben Jonson, at least). While Shakespeare was writing the theatre was also known as a place you could pick up prostitutes, which was the source of much suspicion towards drama by the church, so I bet there were some who were angry at theatregoers who bought sex for tarnishing the fandom. So to speak.

Here's some modern fanart:

Found the creator's DA album. A total of 8 covers for Grimdark Comics, plus 9 more "What if something else had been made by/in the 40K Universe?" pictures.

ETA: I also feel obliged to nerd-rage about why that Formidable Four comic is wrong, because ever-changing and stretching Reed Richards is probably the least Nurglesque person on the team, with the possible exception of Johnny Storm and his blue flames of Tzeentch. It should probably be the Thing, except he's also the best suited for Khorne. Likewise, on the Scooby-Doo parody, Shaggy should totally be hiver Scum, not a Guardsman and especially not Cadian Kasrkin. :spergsay:

They're made in a character design generator that emulates the DCAU style. Making those probably took like 10 minutes per character.

Almost as coherent as "San Francisco Aquarium" in the middle of a sentence for no apparent reason.

It's not hard to understand what me me me is about. Dude's a hardcore otaku and addicted to porn, and fucks up an actual relationship he had because of it. He tries to fight back against his addiction for one last chance to keep his girlfriend but fails and loses everything.

It's told in a particularly grindhouse fashion but it's pretty straightforward once you get past the shock value.

Sonic Dreams Collection is surreal pretty much for the sake of being weird, because it's the bubsy 3d guys

Ok, let me take another swing at it.

Addiction can destroy your life, as we see in the video for his anime/porn addictions. So, in that case, Sonic serves as a stand-in for the addiction. Addicition to Sonic fan-things can destroy your life, alienate you from people you love, and trap you in an endless cycle of self-loathing and escapist denial.

Sounds about right.
