You know you can click on the flags in the graphs screen to turn the line for that nation off/on, right?

If you're posting graphs and omit your own you've probably got something to hide and I'm not going to trust it very much. If you're posting graphs because "holy poo poo this other dude is huge and we all need to kill him now!" then that should be self-evident even with your own scores on there.

If you aren't willing to impersonate other players on IRC for tactical advantage you're not taking the game seriously and are just wasting the other players time.

Speaking of newbie games, if you're a newbie and interested in a game then post in here so I can get a numbers check. I know we've got one or two but I don't know if we have enough for a full newbie game yet. You're a newbie if you have 1-2 completed games under your belt and are in a maximum of two games currently. Dom3 experience still disqualifies you. If you haven't played in a *very* long time -and- don't have a ton of experience but are over my game limits, we'll talk (but post anyways).

Been in three dom4 games so far, one which didn't make it past the first year, a ongoing random game, and the one where I learned never to trust goon advice. Please let me in? I'm still sufficiently terrible at this game.

I don't have a favorite nation or any cool strategies. My pretenders are whatever looks cool and I usually can't bring myself to take negative scales of any sort. My battle strategies are attack closest unless you fly, then attack rear. You mage guys can cast whatever the gently caress you want, there's only two or three of you anyway. I don't like using animal units because it pains me when they get hurt and cry out. My province defense didn't do poo poo at 30, surely if I bump it up to 40 I'll be safe. I know a lot of what I do wrong in this game, I just can't quite figure out how to do it right.

It's bee a while since this has been asked: the only thing that influences siege power (beside strength and specific siege abilities) is that mindless units defense strength is 10% of the usual, right? Animal tag doesn't matter at all.

A bless is good but optional Research evocation for storm+thunderstrike. Take construction early on to forge quills and later to kit out your pony thugs and cloud trapeze into enemy provinces Eventually get into blood magic using Sanguine Dousing Rods on your Vanjarls so you can summon tons and tons of storm demons. Ideally you want to mix these guys with Corpse Constructs so you get a robust electric shield to complement your electric artillery of bloodlust boosted storm demons and Vanjarls
