I think they're going to grind another two tries and then completely shut the game down.

Or possibly France it up.

I'm pretty sure that is the first double-double movement try awarded in a WC match.

Are the refs and TMOs in this tournament just making up the rules for each match before kickoff?

Romania are the clear moral victors, but that gives no bonus points.

Not sure I agree with the logic of the card against Japan, although I don't know why.

HappyCamperGL

Not sure what would be remotely controversial about it? It was a cynical foul which ended an excellent counter attacking chance for Scotland. If we had recycled the ball quickly it would more than likely have been a try.

such a european thing this; nobody ever shuts up for the kicks here in the southern hemisphere. most of our players find it quite unnerving with the silence even.

Yea I think it's just me knowing I probably would have done the same thing and realizing that I would have been wrong to do it.

Oh no I would expect them to do it sometimes but not be surprised when they got sent off.

Matsushima knew what he did was illegal which is why it was a cynical foul a hence the card. As it turns out he probably made the right call, he denied a good chance and Japan really pulled together under the card.

I love Leinster and I couldn't be happier that Jordie Barrett has signed with them on a short term deal.
The Wales team to play England has an air of "all or nothing" to it :

15. Liam Williams (Scarlets)
14. George North (Northampton)
13. Scott Williams (Scarlets)
12. Jamie Roberts (Harlequins
11. Hallam Amos (Newport Gwent Dragons)
10. Dan Biggar (Ospreys)
09. Gareth Davies (Scarlets

01. Gethin Jenkins (Blues)
02. Scott Baldwin (Ospreys)
03. Tomas Francis (Exeter Chiefs)
04. Bradley Davies (Wasps)
05. Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys)
06. Dan Lydiate (Ospreys)
07. Sam Warburton (Blues, captain)
08. Taulupe Faletau (Newport Gwent Dragons)

Replacements: Ken Owens (Scarlets), Aaron Jarvis (Ospreys), :siren:Samson Lee (Scarlets):siren:, Luke Charteris (Racing 92), Justin Tipuric (Ospreys), Lloyd Williams (Blues), Rhys Priestland (Bath), Alex Cuthbert (Blues).

Good to see Samson Lee back, even if it's on the bench. That's probably the best team that Wales have left, hopefully they do well.

Given the injuries, I think that's the best lineup they could put together. Surprised by Bradley Davies instead of Jake Ball though.
