Don't you think you should put more thought into your battleplan?!

Uh guys, can I ask a question?

Is that the"Unsubscribe All" button in the top center-right? I think some of my mods are incompatible. :v:

Not sure about unity but in Source that magenta color is the placeholder for a world reflection. Regardless that's an impressive GUI bug for a product that the team obviously put a lot of polish in to this release.

Well, unsubscribing everything didn't work. Neither did verifying the install via steam. :ohdear:

I take it all the missing buildings on loaded cities are user created buildings that haven't been updated for After Dark? Like I load and my population drops by almost half immediately with large swaths of no buildings.

255,0,255 is a very typical "default" color for missing art assets. It's impossible to miss so it quickly tells developers that something is not there.

Figured it out, for some reason I had "force opengl" in the launch options.

You'd think it would be a dark hole in your city's lightscape at night simply because no one's there.

fwiw there's a grade school near me that keeps certain lights on at night now because about a year ago they had a break in and someone stole like 80 iPads.

It'd be cool if "LED lights" was a policy that changed the (ugly) yellow halogens to nice white lamps (and reduced power consumption).

Yeah, I want it to be a district option so I can have sodium lamps in the industrial district, LEDs in the college town, that sort of thing.

Unupdated buildings just show up but don't have lights turn on at night, so I think it's something else.

I keep saying that an Old Town/Victorian/Edwardian/Not Modern Era DLC would be the raddest poo poo, and I'm sticking to that.

Pretty nearly all the mod assets are in place to make a more old-timey sort of city (building themes, vehicles, etc.) except for something that swaps out the default stoplights and streetlights for older equivalents.

It's yet another day in the wasteland.

Is anyone else getting what looks like banded shadows on European-themed ground textures?

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else and I wonder if it's something that's properly bugged, or if it's just some random bit rot that has struck the textures? It doesn't seem to be mod related (it's there with or without mods, and even with everything on, it doesn't appear in any other map type).

Yes. At first I thought that it was the rock sprites casting shadows, but no there are just weird lines on the textures for some reason.

So two of my new cities since the expansion have suddenly right around when I hit 20k everyone gets sick. I don't have almost any pollution, plenty of cemetaries/hospitals and there is no pollution near my water pumps it is frustrating to just have the entire city die like that I can't seem to stop it.

Are you using water towers? Make sure ground pollution hasn't snuck up on any water source. I accidentally killed a city that way, once.

Terraform Tool mod. Select the level tool (has two arrow pointing left and right), right click on an area that matches the height you want to set it, and then left click to level terrain. Otherwise there's not really an efficient way to level ground in the base game.
