The only hole in that theory would be that if he was up to some dark scheme, surely he would have done something with the crocus before Cucumber's crew showed up (and Cabbage stole it)? I mean, the guy had ample time to be evil if he was gonna be evil. so I'm going to stick with "he's just a real dick".

She helped design Undyne, and did a few bits of art for the game (like the poster in Alphy's lab). It's a game made by a friend of hers, and she's been pushing the game pretty hard on the comic's ad space and her twitter, so I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread's heard of it, but just to be clear: it is in fact that good, and you should play it, and avoid spoilers as much as possible.

Also there's a demo on the website if you want to try it before you buy it. But keep in mind that the demo was made two years ago, and the game went through a lot of work since. The story, characters, and art improved a lot since. It's more fun then I remember when I first played it years ago.

In Chapter 2 at least, Almond was still excited to get the orb. This time no one seems particularly happy. At this rate of happiness depletion, chapter 5 or so will end with Cucumber openly crying next to an orb while everybody else stands around awkwardly and good job is in the bottom corner next the site url.
