She needs to team up with Magneto from the first X-Men movie and make a machine that turns people into women AND mutants. I don't know what the next step of this plan is, but I'm guessing something that involves making those people into cyborgs or downloading their brains onto the internet, too.

Hey, not sure if anyone answered this, please don't jump down my throat if someone did. But yes. Captain America was turned into a woman and that's why he's been a woman till the introduction of the (male) Ultimate Captain America character, on whom the film version was loosely based.

They both require being able to do something so fast that someone moving faster than you can see not realize what you're doing and compensate, but I'll at least grant that coating the ground in teflon is a little more plausible from the perspective of "maybe he wouldn't realize what was happening."

Probably, but Flash's is funnier since it's almost completely passive and he doesn't even know whatthefuck just happened. At least with the SUNFIST Bruce still has to punch that handsome alien right in the face.

I remember an episode of Superfriends (or something) where Superman was in a deep hole, and a drill was coming down at him. The drill became red-hot because of the friction, and that red glow sucked out Supes's power.

It varies, usually somewhere between "neutralizes his powers" and "actively hurts him." I prefer it closer to the former, but hacks tend to use it as a Kryptonite equivalent because yeah.

ImpAtom

Red sun is always kind of iffy.

At times it is just "red sun doesn't give Superman energy and so his batteries will eventually run dry." But since "Superman's batteries run dry" is a process that takes a small eternity it has become "it actively saps his power" to make it more significant.

There is no good reason why it should HURT him though.

See that building? That's what should have happened to Deathstroke. The brilliant plan of "The Flash won't be able to stop in time!" includes the flaw that The Flash won't be able to stop in time.

Avulsion posted:

There was a brief period where that was basically how it worked, Supes couldn't walk into a windowless room without his powers starting to fade.

Snyder at least tried to sell it it by pointing out that setting up that particular defense against Flash took billions, is completely automatic since Bruce would never react on time and was the bulk of the budget for the suit since Flash would otherwise take him down before Bruce had a chance to even acknowledge it.
