And if your daddy's a cop on the east side of Chicago you have some major problems unless he has a boat or scuba gear.

Alaska is closer to the left than Rhode Island, which if the states are sorted from most delegates to least delegates, means Alaska should send more delegates to the convention than Rhode Island, which as far as I understand it, it does, on account of it getting a bunch of bonus delegates from voting republican so much?

It's amazing how many people didn't read the axis labels. Anyway found a neat map at the Boston West End Museum today: Boston and surroundings with water drawn as it was when Europeans first showed up, more or less, and current day shorelines and roads/transit over top. Closeup of the central area.

Wow, I had no idea Boston had that much land reclamation. The Dutch would be almost impressed.

I am so disappointed that they made "all of the above" its own color instead of double striped. If your going to use such a hideous color scheme at least commit to it.

Ammat The Ankh posted:Shouldn't the United Kingdom be in the "Kingdom" category? I think the map is being ultra-technical, and since "United Kingdom" isn't literally the same as "Kingdom", it goes in the "Other" category. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is also in the Other category. It's a map of long form names rather than government types, so only countries describing themselves as "Kingdom of X" are on the Kingdom list.
