I think this is great. There have been many times I've wanted something like this. Your arms get tired fast when you're hauling gravel and such all day.

It's imgur telling you not to do that because it's a bad idea.

Carbon dioxide posted:This situation is not safe for work: Had a guy in my office (pretty large, about 6'3" and easily 250+) break an office chair in a similar manner but it broke BOTH arms clean in two. He liked to lean back in it like a recliner and one day the chair was like "LOL nope", snapped and dumped him backwards. He was OK, we all had a good laugh about it, no harm done thankfully

Someone just ran their fingers into steel fan blades. No not me. Two of his fingers were split down through the fingernail. It wouldn't look so bad except it's clean through and while I bandaged it, I noticed the two halves of both fingertips were vertically offset. Pretty sure bone was involved. Sorry, but I don't have pictures. You would if it was me, promise. Oop, wait. Sorta delivering. Anagram of GINGER fucked around with this message at 21:18 on Oct 5, 2015 |

Carbon dioxide posted:This situation is not safe for work: I worked at a dispatch center where several of my coworkers were +300 pound fat dudes. One by one we'd hear a snap and another chair would be broken until they finally broke them all. The seats would slope forward and through the whole shift I'd slowly slide toward the edge and have to keep pushing myself back. The rep from Steelcase paid a visit to see if they'd cover them under warranty. When she arrived the only people in dispatch were the two fattest guys, and they had a couple of pizzas on top of the console. Warranty claim was denied as the chairs had a 250 lb limit.

But seriously, we had to get new chairs at my lab because the ones we had weren't adjustable, and thus weren't up to osha standards. I wasn't complaining.
