That's because if you had posted that as a gif, you'd get 10 replies about "who loving posted a 68mb gif inline". It's imgur telling you not to do that because it's a bad idea.

Dude's a professional catcher, he gets 100mph balls thrown at his head for a living. He didn't even flinch.

Its not even a super uncommon thing to have happen.

Had a guy in my office (pretty large, about 6'3" and easily 250+) break an office chair in a similar manner but it broke BOTH arms clean in two. He liked to lean back in it like a recliner and one day the chair was like "LOL nope", snapped and dumped him backwards. He was OK, we all had a good laugh about it, no harm done thankfully :)

Someone just ran their fingers into steel fan blades. No not me.

Two of his fingers were split down through the fingernail. It wouldn't look so bad except it's clean through and while I bandaged it, I noticed the two halves of both fingertips were vertically offset. Pretty sure bone was involved.

Sorry, but I don't have pictures. You would if it was me, promise.

Oop, wait. Sorta delivering.

I worked at a dispatch center where several of my coworkers were +300 pound fat dudes. One by one we'd hear a snap and another chair would be broken until they finally broke them all. The seats would slope forward and through the whole shift I'd slowly slide toward the edge and have to keep pushing myself back.

The rep from Steelcase paid a visit to see if they'd cover them under warranty. When she arrived the only people in dispatch were the two fattest guys, and they had a couple of pizzas on top of the console.

Warranty claim was denied as the chairs had a 250 lb limit. :btroll:

You can get taken to the cleaners in civil court if you deny workers comp or disability to someone with a dumb workstation configuration. In that way, its actually more effective than OSHA fines which can't even keep furniture companies from feeding carpenters to sofas.
