Back in the August the CW President said Legends of Tomorrow would be their last DC show. They only have 10 hours of TV a week and three of it is already DC related (four if you count their best show, iZombie). I'd imagine they don't want the perception of them to be DC's TV channel or something.

Like Jesus, candy, and crackerjacks! Ice cream and cake and lots o'laffs!
Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Joe! Larry, Curly, and brother Moe!

This would be bigger news if NBC wasn't developing a DCU show with a very similar premise.

Does this property really fit the MCU that well, though? Even with recent developments on SHIELD, it's hardly struck me as a place where superhero/villain/alien poo poo is remotely as common as it is in 616.

If more people are going to be terragening the place up, plus the fall out of Civil War, plus The Defenders, there could easily be room for Damage Control moving forward

When Alan Moore bargained with the snake god Glycon for his powers, this is the price he paid: he will never own his most famous work, and it will constantly be adapted in ways he does not approve of.

Agents of Shield DID introduce the Inhumans (aka the MCU equivalent of mutants) so I can see this working as a concept more now.

Gibbons loved it, and according to the internet, for what that's worth, Moore told a lecture group that it's the only Watchmen adaptation he's enjoyed.

I was reading a thing about the Damage Control series and it won't completely disappear into nothing as so many others have as the show has a put pilot commitment. Which means that no matter what they have to at least make and air a pilot.

I hope they can hook up Damage Control so that it's cleaning up basically every action sequence in the MCU whether it be movies, SHIELD or Netflix.

They don't need to be blatant about it, just have the disaster-of-the-week be whatever the action-of-the-week was on something else.

Well, all the costumed characters can't just come in the front door for her services, and are always using the fire escape. In fact they probably have that on every floor - in much the same way houses on either side of a Brothel have really clear signage, the other business probably take great care to divert potential colateral-damage-events to the right floor.
