I can't wait for original Wells from Earth-2 to be just as snide, if not moreso, than the first season Wells. Since it was revealed that Eobard adopted some of his personality when he took his place, they don't exactly have to rewrite the character much at all, just his motives.

Yes, but whether or not Eobard being erased means the real Harrison Wells will return is not yet known. If everything Eobard did was erased with his non-existence, then the entire timeline would be reverted in the same fashion of what would happen if Barry saved his mother. That's clearly not happening though, so it's a mystery what (if anything) will be changed.

Yeah I'm a little worried too. Especially because I have a really hard time finding anything interesting about Atom Smasher (especially if they're going with "strong guy who throws things"), which makes me think they're going to go hard into the love triangle with the new chick right away in the opener. I'm sure we'll get some interesting stuff with Jay but who knows. I'd be happy to be wrong though. Basically what I'm saying is bring back Cavanagh to be smug and chew scenery as soon as possible.
