Super Mario World Metroid Prime Diablo II Zelda: Ocarina of Time Morrowind Civilization IV Super Mario Galaxy Warcraft III Zelda: A Link to the Past World of Warcraft I'm torn about putting WoW on there. I never want to play it again but man coming into that game when it was fresh and new was something else.

Daikatana Ritsu posted:i will not choose between Nocturne and DQVIII for best PS2 game and you can't make me. it was a t ough call for me too, but in the end, SMT wins for being so loving good, the music, the difficulty, the fusions, the story even (minimal, but dark) and on top of that the Amala network and the bonuses. Goddamn Dragon Quest 8 will probably be my favorite tomorrow, so who knows. That game is flawless.

the outside of Amala Temple is one of the coolest areas I've ever seen in gaming and I still get that epic feeling when i first see it

But MGS5, Starcraft, and Baldur's Gate 2 are probably the games I've played the most of on PC anyway

I.N.R.I posted:its not about being objective IMO. youre not getting paid to be some kind of reasoned critic. I just put the top ten games I enjoyed in my life for my list. Super Mario Sunshine isn't as important as SMB3, for example, but it brings back good 2002 memories. I replayed most of it not too long ago and it still held up for me, but I was also able to better understand what parts of it turned some Mario fans off.

That game would be perfect if it had a better way of tracking what blue coins you were missing.

I.N.R.I posted:for gameplay 6 is naturally the best but its nowhere near as good of a videogame. know what i mean? like, in 6, everything's basically there for you from the start. nothing to unlock, no secret prize cars and hidden stuff. I liked the secondhand market in 4.
