Naming your kid Digs-For-Roots is just dooming him to be an alchemist. It's a wonder more folks don't rebel, then we'd have Hadmar Axe-Haft, level 15 enchanter.

Running on low lets you see crafting nodes from greater distances, because the rocks or trees that would obscure them don't pop in. ZOS should nerf this by buying you a video card.

You need to lower the resolution as well as the graphics for full effect. Lower it to about the second or third lowest and then make that windowed full screen and you will get a lovely circa 90's effect. You will know it's right when there are almost no smooth edges and all of the edges seem to sparkle a bit.

Leave it to ZOS to gently caress up cross-faction grouping: Apparently you're only able to do cross-faction through the group finder tool. Straight up invites between guild members will NOT work. Every day their incompetence becomes clearer and clearer.

To be fair to them, they are planning on implementing it outside of the grouping tool soon after, but still, how stupid do they have to be to not make that a day 1 thing.

It's probably a horribly misguided sense of trying to make the grouping tool relevant in some way. Because it's just a colossal waste right now. I mean, that won't change, people will still just group with their guildmates or pubbies in Mournhold. Because it isn't a good idea if it is the case.

I think it's just further proof of my suspicion that the way they did different factions during development is some kind of weird rear end system that makes it hard for players from different factions to be in the same instance outside of Cyrodiil.

I can't imagine what kind of busted rear end databases they've got if theyre having problems like that. Something tells me things like name change for your characters are still a long way away because they can't figure out how to implement them Remember back around launch when weapon change was really laggy because they had to rebuild some kind of data structure each time you swapped?

I was going to get my DC Templar to 40 to cross faction in guild... Welp. He is a mess right now anyway. He is my crafter so lots of skill points there and he is in transition from Magicka Tanking (which worked well for leveling PvE) to Stam which is currently horrible. I need to run Undaunted dungeons from the start with my lvl 30-ish AoE Sorc if anyone is interested. I can craft him Hundings and Night Mothers heavy, but not the Medium he needs for a while yet. I should be able to get him to 40 this week and then will have to learn about Enlightenment and the CP system which I don't understand at all.

So in order to take advantage of the CP change I need to first get one char to at least V1 by Nov 21, 12 days prior to the Nov 2 update? This then unlocks CP for any character and I can use it on toons I have gotten to 40 or whatever?
