The memory cards go in underneath the controller on an n64. They don't hold much, you may forget to put a card in before playing is my best guess.
But of course I don't really know why someone got that as a dumb tattoo.

Expansion slot? Memory packs and rumble went in the same slot, so I remember having to buy some third party dual purpose thingy so I could save my awesome custom WWF wrestler, DR XTREME

The expansion pack, it made the system more powerful - like 3-4 games used it.

Rumble packs, memory cards, and some other gizmos went into the bottom of the controller.

Unless that's a really light table, it's actually held up by whatever's in the buckets.

The third one was the Transfer Pak, which connected a handful of Game Boy and Game Boy Colour to matching N64 games.

The thing in the middle was for a gizmo that gave the N64 an extra 4MB of RAM. It was mandatory for a small handful of games and optional for some other games to make the textures a little sharper.

Not necessarily, depending on how much ballast is in those buckets. But it would likely destabilize the thing, causing one side to drop, and then the contents of the buckets to spill.

That's a funny way of looking at it. The centre of gravity of the system is below the bit of the ruler on the table, so the forces are balanced. (Nice Goon Show username, tho'.)

Wish I had a picture of it but one of my favorite things to do to break peoples' brains is to set a can down and have it stand on the little rim around the bottom. It actually isn't all that hard but it looks weird as hell. You just need to drink it until the liquid inside is the right amount to hold it down on the two ridges of the rim equally so it can't favor one or the other and fall over.

You know I should really actually take a shot of that next time I drink a can of something.

But yeah, it's amazing what you can get away with that looks like it violates the laws of physics in terrifying ways.
